AWARDED TO TWO TOP EMERGING FILMMAKERS OF COLOR

SAGindie is proud to sponsor the Stowe Story Labs / SAGindie Fellowship. The Fellowship is awarded annually to two top emerging filmmakers of color.

One will cover the fee to attend the 2027 Fall Stowe Narrative Lab with a $500 travel/lodging stipend and a custom one-on-one mentor meeting appropriate to the project’s needs. This is an over $3,000 value.

One will cover the fee to attend the 2027 Fall Online Producers’ Lab plus two custom ongoing mentoring sessions after the Lab is complete. This is an over $2,000 value.

As a free resource, SAGindie offers filmmakers clarity and kinship by guiding them through the SAG-AFTRA signatory process, making it even easier to hire professional actors, regardless of budget. SAGindie is made possible by a grant from the Screen Actors Guild-Producers Industry Advancement & Cooperative Fund.
