Producers’ Lab News
Congratulations to Stowe Alum Connor Martin on his directorial debut with his comedic thriller The Dregs, starring Nava Mau of Baby Reindeer. Recently featured in Deadline, The Dregs centers on a friends’ trip to Tuscany that gets derailed by old wounds and cursed bottle of Vin Santo. Shooting begins in Italy in March 2025.
We were honored to work with Connor to develop The Dregs at the 2024 Producers’ Lab. Congratulations, Connor, we can’t wait to watch. Read more about The Dregs in Deadline.

Leadership
Producers’ Lab mentors are drawn from across the value chain to inform the different stages of a producer’s journey with a project, and typically will include a sales agent, producers, and financiers.
The program will be integrated into Stowe’s anchor Narrative Lab.

The fee for the Producers’ Lab is $2,650. Our lodging partners offer discounts (and some offer breakfast), and we provide other meals and receptions during the time together so expenses during the program are kept to a minimum.
“Returning to Stowe Story Labs again, this time for the Producer's Lab, was a dream! I would leave panels and conversations with these "A-Ha" moments that explained all the nooks and crannies of producing I otherwise wouldn't have even known to think about. It's hard to find a comprehensive program combined with a supportive tight-knit community, there's something special about Stowe in that respect.”
