Aaron Janus

Aaron Janus currently serves as Director, Original Film at Netflix and has been with the company since 2021. Prior to joining Netflix, Janus was Senior Vice President of Film Development/Production at Lionsgate where he oversaw various film projects including John Wick: Chapter 4.  Before joining Lionsgate, Janus served as Head of Development at Platinum Dunes and was an Executive Producer on A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II.  Janus was also the Director of Film Production and Development at Twentieth Century Fox where he worked on such films as Deadpool, The Wolverine, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Janus began his film executive career as the VP of Development at Scott Rudin Productions.  Originally from Vermont, Janus is a graduate of Wesleyan University where he double-majored in Film Studies and Economics.
