Amanda Livanou
Amanda is the founder of Athens-based Neda Film. During her 25-year career, she has worked in film and television as well as Greek film institutions.
Select titles include L and Pity by Babis Makridis, 2012 & 2018 Sundance World Dramatic Competition selections, respectively; Birds (or How to Be One) also by Babis Makridis, Rotterdam FF 2020; Park by Sofia Exarchou, Best New Director at San Sebastian FF; New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilisation (documentary) with Bill Murray, directed by Andrew Muscato, Official Selection at Cannes FF 2022; On Xerxes Throne by Evi Kalogiropoulou (short), Prix Canal+, Semaine de la Critique at Cannes 2022; The Invisible Fight by Rainer Sarnet, Official Competition at Locarno FF 2023, and most recently Gorgona by Evi Kalogiropoulou, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival this past September.
In development and production is a varying slate of TV drama and animation projects and european co-productions, as well as the upcoming feature of Agnieszka Smoczynska Hot Spot for Focus Features.

Amanda is a Sundance Creative Producing Summit Fellow, a member of both the Hellenic and European Film Academies, and serves on the Board of the Directors of the Hellenic Producers Association (SAPOE) for a second term as VP since December 2020.
