Amy Hobby

Amy Hobby (Producer) is an Oscar-nominated, Emmy, and Peabody Award-winning producer with credits on 30+ films in distribution. Most recently she produced the documentary 1-800-On-Her-Own (Tribeca Festival 2024), Dory Previn: On My Way To Where (SXSW 2024), Inside the Mind of a Dog (Netflix 2024), Nam June Paik: Moon is the Oldest TV (Sundance 2023), and the series Eat the Rich (Netflix 2023). Her narrative features include Secretary (Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Spader), Hamlet (Ethan Hawke, Bill Murray), Lucky Them (Toni Collette, Johnny Depp), Paint it Black (Janet McTeer, Alia Shawcat), and Nadja (Executive Producer David Lynch). Amy is a former Executive Director of the TRIBECA FILM INSTITUTE (2016-2020) and is a current co-founder of DISTRIBUTION ADVOCATES.
