Ciara Wardlow

Ciara Wardlow supports the media team at BOOM! Studios, developing film and television adaptations of the comic book publisher’s extensive IP library. She previously worked at Paramount Pictures and the production company Maven Screen Media. A 2023 HRTS Foundation Fellow and a 2021 Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, she executive produced the shorts "Calabaza" and "The Mason Ring,” which took home the award for “Best Short” at the Oscar-qualifying Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival in 2022. In her past life as a film critic, her bylines included The Hollywood Reporter, RogerEbert.com, Film School Rejects, and Pajiba.
