Ellie Foumbi

Ellie Foumbi is a Cameroonian-American filmmaker whose debut film, Our Father, the Devil (2021), premiered at the Venice Film Festival. It went on to win 27 prizes at international film festivals and was nominated for Best Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards. She's a Berlinale Talents Alum, BAFTA Breakthrough USA Fellow, and was named one of 25 New Faces of Independent Film by Filmmaker Magazine. She holds an MFA from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in Directing.
