Jelena Paljan

Jelena Paljan is a screenwriter who holds Master’s degrees in Film and Television Editing and Dramaturgy from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. After editing two feature-length television films, she turned to writing for film and television. Her work has been screened and awarded at major regional and international festivals, including Cherries, The Last Socialist Artefact, and Celebration.

Since 2024, she has been teaching Feature Film Screenwriting at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She also works as a script consultant and script doctor.
