Michele Turnure-Salleo
As Principal at Feracious Entertainment (Feracious), Michele Turnure-Salleo produces and executive produces independent films. Projects in packaging include The Wayward Wind. Recent completed films include Boss Cat, Sweet Milk Lake, BlueBack (Sundance 2023/TIFF 2022), Farewell Amor (Sundance 2020), Before You Know It (Sundance 2019), The Sound of Silence (Sundance 2019) and Buoyancy (Berlinale 2019). Alongside her role at Feracious, Turnure-Salleo works internationally as a script/story editor as well as screenwriting and producer lab mentor. Turnure-Salleo is on the Advisory Board of The Redford Center, a San Francisco-based nonprofit dedicated to environmental impact. Previously, Turnure-Salleo was Development Producer at Storyd Group, an Australian based company supporting female storytellers by investing in internationally targeted feature films from Australian female creatives. From 2008-2016 she designed and ran the SF Filmmakers program at SF Film providing more than $5 million in funding to filmmakers such as Ryan Coogler, Chloe Zhao, Destin Daniel Cretton, Sara Colangelo, Benh Zeitlin and Maryam Keshavarz amongst others. She holds a BFA (Film) from the University of New South Wales in Australia and an MFA (Film) from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
