Michele Turnure-Salleo

Michele Turnure-Salleo is the Principal at Feracious Entertainment (Feracious). Recent Executive Producer/Co-Executive Producer credits include; Blueback (Sundance 2023/TIFF 2022), Farewell Amor (Sundance 2020), Before You Know It (Sundance 2019), The Sound of Silence (Sundance 2019) Buoyancy (Berlinale 2019) as well as projects in development, Sweet Milk Lake, The Wayward Wind, and Boss Cat.

Alongside her work at Feracious, Turnure-Salleo works internationally as a script editor on projects supported with development funding from screen agencies such as Screen Australia, Vic Screen, Screen Tasmania and Screen Scotland. She has been a mentor at labs such as Stowe Story Labs, Biennale College Cinema, Vic Screen’s Originate Lab and Attagirl Global Lab.

Previously, Turnure-Salleo was Development Producer at Storyd Group supporting Australian female filmmakers. From 2008-2016 she designed and ran the Filmmaker 360 program at SFFS - San Francisco Film Society (now SFFilm)  where she provided more than $5 million in funding to develop and support exceptional filmmakers including Chloe Zhao - Songs My Brothers Taught Me (Sundance/Cannes 2015), Destin Daniel Cretton - Short Term 12 (SXSW 2013), Ryan Coogler - Fruitvale Station (Sundance/Cannes 2013), Benh Zeitlin - Beasts of Southern Wild (Sundance/Cannes 2012) and Maryam Keshavarz- Circumstance (Sundance 2011).
