Rachel Shane

As Head of Film and Television for Madison Wells, Rachel Shane oversees the company’s feature film and television development and production. Being a member of the Madison Wells team since 2013, she has built a robust and award-winning pipeline of projects including having served as Producer on Jessica Chastain Oscar® winner, THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE and Executive Producer on the Academy Award®-nominated HELL OR HIGHWATER (Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine). Shane most recently produced the hit film NONNAS, debuting at #1 on Netflix and upcoming is PRIME MINISTER, a documentary about Jacinda Ardern, the former PM of New Zealand.  She is currently producing Jim Rash’s directorial debut, MISS YOU, LOVE YOU (Andrew Rannells, Allison Janney). Additionally, she was a Producer on the Golden Globe- nominated MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN (written, directed and starring Edward Norton) as well as Executive Producer on the Emmy® award winning and Golden-Globe nominated anthology series, GENIUS: MLK/X; ARETHA (Cynthia Erivo); PICASSO; and EINSTEIN. As the former Executive Vice President of Production at Red Wagon Entertainment, she Executive Produced the international YA franchise DIVERGENT and the thriller LAWLESS (Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain). Shane is a member of AMPAS, The Television Academy, PGA, Women at Sundance and Film Independent.
