Diana Richardson

Diana Richardson is a Stowe alumna, mentor and award-winning filmmaker who enjoys telling stories about strong female protagonists, many forgotten by history. Her feature War Girls – about the first women to fly planes in the US military during WWII – was optioned by AMBI Pictures. She produced Sunflower Care, a TV pilot that has won several awards and been screened multiple times on the film festival circuit. An updated version of Diana's play Oh Grace!—which premiered near Austin and explores the life of storied Texas personality Grace Jones—is currently being workshopped. She is a professor at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), and a guest lecturer at Montana State University. Diana is a member of the Dramatists Guild, and the Sidewrite Screenwriting Jury for the Sidewalk Film Festival, and a frequent guest speaker at LMU events.
