Diana Richardson

BOARD MEMBER, ALUM VOLUNTEER

Diana Richardson is a Stowe alumna and award-winning writer, filmmaker and lawyer who likes to tell stories about strong female protagonists, many forgotten by history. Her feature War Girls – about the first women to fly in the US military during WWII – was optioned by AMBI Pictures. Lucille's Treasure Chest, centered around legendary Black chef and entrepreneur Lucille B. Smith is out with producer Mike Kolko. She is the Creative and Executive Producer on Sunflower Care, a TV pilot making its festival run. Diana co-wrote and produced Oh Grace!, a play about Texas personality Grace Jones. She wrote, directed and produced The Speed of Sound, a sizzle reel about the life of famous aviatrix Jackie Cochran. Diana is a guest lecturer at Montana State University, a member of the Dramatists Guild, a finalist script reader for Stowe Story Labs, and a member of the Sidewrite Screenwriting Jury for the Sidewalk Film Festival.
