Zoë Gibney. Zoë wrote and directed her debut Short Film I Found A Place in 2024 which has gone on to receive many awards on the Film Festival circuit. Off the back of its success Zoë was commissioned to write and direct a short film and campaign for Focus Ireland to mark their 40th Anniversary. In 2024 Zoë won the Galway Film Fleadh Pitching competition with her feature script idea Don’s Life Goes On, this opened many doors for her including a Bursary to Stowe Story Labs in Vermont, and a Screen Ireland Fellowship to Stowe Story Connemara, where she further developed this project. She is one of the Screen Ireland Focus Short recipients and will Direct an adaptation of Anne Enright’s Lucy’s Boyfriend in January 2026.
