Ellius Grace. Ellius Grace is a director, writer and photographer from Dublin. He has mixed heritage, with an Irish father and a Malaysian Chinese mother. This upbringing gave him different experiences of culture and people which he tries to channel into his work today. Ellius’ latest directorial work is the Screen Ireland Focus Short, A Song, which is an adaptation of a short story of the same name by Colm Toíbín. Ellius worked with writer Shaun Dunne to bring the adaptation to life, and the short premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2025.
