Aaron Farrell
Aaron Farrell is Head of Drama for Irish production company Shinawil. His recent credits include producer of the Irish episodes of Mayfair Witches S2 for AMC, and executive producer of 3D VR horror series The Faceless Lady for Meta.
The last two feature films he produced were Cry From The Sea starring Dominic Cooper, Sarah Gadon, Sarah Bolger and Aidan Quinn, which is currently in post, and The Miracle Club starring Maggie Smith, Laura Linney and Kathy Bates, which premiered at Tribeca in 2023 and was released by Sony Picture Classics in the US and Lionsgate in the UK & Ireland.
He was executive producer on the recent TV series’ Clean Sweep (RTE, Sundance Now), The Doll Factory (Paramount+), Maryland (ITV) and The Catch (Channel 5). Previous producer and executive producer roles for Shinawil include the TV series Miss Scarlet And The Duke (PBS Masterpiece, Alibi), The Spectacular (vpro) and feature film The Cured (TIFF 2017).
Before joining Shinawil, Aaron was a production executive on Vikings and The Borgias. He co-produced the feature films Calvary (Sundance 2014), Tomato Red, and Cherrybomb (Berlinale 2009). Aaron sits on the Screen Producers Ireland Film and TV Drama committee and holds an MA in Film Studies, and a BA in English and Economics, both from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has been a guest speaker at UCD, NUIG and TUD and regularly participates in industry panels at festivals and conferences.
