Sola Fasehun

Sola began working in the film industry in development with Academy Award-winning producer Michael Phillips (Taxi Driver, Close Encounters, The Sting) and soon after launched her own production company, Fasehun Films. For several years, Sola was a sales agent and distribution consultant at Submarine Entertainment/Deluxe (Winter’s Bone, Searching for Sugarman, Tangerine).  Next, Sola worked at United Talent Agency (UTA) whereby she helped to launch UTA's first diversity initiative.  At another agency, Sola was an MP/TV Literary Agent and Inclusion Board Chair for the company's first diversity initiative.

Currently, Sola is the founder of The Distribution Collective (TDC), which brings consulting to filmmakers and inclusion initiatives to organizations; in addition to entertainment management for industry professionals. Sola was one of the producers of Slayers starring Abigail Breslin, Malin Akerman, and Thomas Jane (Hulu); Loser Leaves Town (HBO); the Tribeca Film Festival awarding-winning film Leylak (Executive Produced by Colman Domingo), Fire Music (premiered at NYFF at Lincoln Center) and Heritage (Netflix). Recently, Sola was one of the producers and sales consultant on the BBC's Paid in Full (Executive Produced by Idris Elba) and A Prophet (Venice Film Festival Premiere).  Sola is the founder of the annual Diversity and Inclusion Film Festival (DIFF) at Lincoln Center.  Forbes called DIFF: "A Visionary Festival".
