Daisy Allsop
Daisy Allsop is an Emmy-winning producer with 25 years experience in film, across development, distribution, production and acquisitions; and with five theatrical features to her name. Named Women in Film & TV’s Producer of the Year in 2024 for the feature documentary Otto Baxter: Not a F**king Horror Story, she and the team also won an International Emmy, a Royal Television Society Award, a BAFTA, a Banff Rockie and a Rose d’Or.
She is currently in post-production on In Starland, Ray Panthaki’s debut feature, shot in Mississippi and starring Clarence Maclin and Bella Maclean. Previous credits include My Happy Ending for Universal, starring Andie MacDowell, Miriam Margolyes and Sally Phillips; Tell It to the Bees starring Anna Paquin, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival; and Orthodox starring Stephen Graham.
As a writer, represented by Casarotto Ramsay, Daisy is developing book adaptation All Among the Barley for Gaby Tana’s Magnolia Mae, and original climate change themed love story The Aquarium for Riverstone Pictures. Daisy has worked as a script editor throughout her career, and taught development workshops and film business modules at London Film School and NFTS.
Daisy is a development and acquisitions consultant for sales agent West End Films.
