Stowe Story Labs Announces Roster for 6th Annual Sidewalk Narrative Lab

Stowe Story Labs is pleased to announce the participants and mentors for our 2024 Sidewalk Narrative Lab, run during the storied Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Alabama.

Now in our sixth year, Stowe Story Labs’ Sidewalk Narrative Lab is an annual partnership between Stowe Story Labs and the Sidewalk Film Festival.

At the Sidewalk Narrative Lab, participants will develop the stories they bring to the Lab; work closely with top industry mentors on how to advance the work in this deeply collaborative and complex industry; and gain insights on the right next steps for their work. The Lab is an intensive program, mixing presentations, Q&A sessions, carefully built exercises, structured small group sessions, and social and networking time. Stowe’s goal is for each participant to leave the Lab energized and fully prepared to talk about their project with new friends and colleagues in any context or forum, having gained insight on how to polish the work and advance it.

For each Lab, Stowe looks for applicants who demonstrate talent, an interesting story idea, and a commitment to learn the skills necessary to get work made and seen. The mentors who attend are top industry professionals working on all aspects of film and TV projects.

We are thrilled to work with this fantastic group of participants and mentors and to again partner with the Sidewalk team.
